How We Stay Safe

To our guests, the entire team at HK Hospitality is grateful and excited to be back serving our communities.

HK Hospitality has created a rigorous COVID-19 system using CDC and New York State guidelines to maintain a safe dining experience for our guests and a healthy workplace for our employees.

Here are the steps that we have taken – and are taking every day and every shift to do everything possible:

-          Developed COVID-19 employee training manual with rules & regulations regarding advanced cleaning schedules, employee responsibilities and amended COVID-19 operational steps

-          Require guests and employees to wear face coverings for the safety of everyone

-          Perform a five-point health check that employees must pass before every shift

-          Promote social distancing including limiting capacity, reconfiguring our restaurants, staggered employee scheduling and distancing-awareness signage in appropriate locations throughout our restaurant e.g. curbside pick-up line, restroom line, host entrance area

-          Amplify cleaning schedules to double the number of routine cleanings each shift

-          Train every member of staff on revised cleaning regulations based on employee function including a continual disinfecting regimen of equipment, furniture, utensils, implements and personnel.

-          Require each restaurant to schedule a dedicated Sanitation Specialist for each shift

-          Created an easily-accessible (via QR Code and short URL) digital menu for no-contact ordering. Disposable paper menus are available.

As phased protocols change throughout the State of New York’s reopening plans, we will continue to identify every opportunity to proudly maintain a safe environment in our restaurants.
